Text Box: Check out the last page of this newsletter for the free breakfast picture. If you know who this person is, you could just be the winner of a free breakfast at the November meeting.

This covers a terrific “all you can eat buffet” and your first drink. The party will be held in a larger room (Old Steak House) at the Silver Club on December 8th. Drinks start at 5:30pm with dinner starting at 6:30pm. We must have a head count and names of everyone attending by the end of business on December 1st. This will give the restaurant adequate time to prepare. Please let any Chapter Officer, (Micky, Marianne, Randy, Julie, John, Marge or Dana) know if you are going to attend. Payment in advance is NOT required but encouraged; Getting your name on the Christmas list is a must. You can make payment for the party when you arrive at the party – see the bouncer (aka “John”) at the door. Remember to bring a gift for the famous white elephant gift-stealing game. The gift should be gift wrapped without any identification as to a male or female gift. This year as all of the gifts will be placed together to make this another unforgettable exchange. We will limit the gift exchange stealing to just 2 instead of the usual three because of the number of participants. Try to keep the price tag somewhere around $20.00. Last minute party goers can still arrive late and find a spot in the buffet line. This year we will have an audio system so that everyone will be able to hear the gift exchange information and special announcements.

As of this month (November) the safety socials held each month will be cancelled until the month of January 2008. Darkness prevents us from doing anything outside the rest of this year and with the holidays in November and December it preclude us holding the Safety Socials because of the holiday conflicts.

We hope everyone enjoys what little time remains for riding. As we quickly approach winter, please start preparing your motorcycles for their “hibernation”. Simple things like covering your bike, hooking up a trickle charger, and starting up the engine once in awhile can do wonders for preventing mechanical damage during the cold periods.

During our last monthly meeting in Carson City Randy Thelander was nominated for the Brinky award by Julie Thelander. If you weren’t present for the nomination, then you missed a lively discussion. After we were given the whole story surrounding the

Now about the Christmas Party:  A lot of good food and fun times for just $20.00 a head (your cost).
