Family Membership Cards
Ladies and Gentlemen,
We have received considerable communications from our Family Members regarding the naming configuration on the family cards. The Member’s communications were addressing their concerns that even though the Family membership identified a family name it should also identify the two primary Members by their given names as well.
Over the last several months, we have been searching for a way to add the partner’s name to the process without adding excessive expense, the need to “retool” our card processes or to return to the increasingly expensive “hard card” system. At great expense and time we were able to identify and design a data modification and a process restructure that resolved the partners naming issue and is financially responsible for our Members. The process, though expensive, can now be accomplished.
The retool and restocking of materials and supplies will require a time frame of 8 to 10 weeks and is in process. Our objective is to begin production of the new Family cards by 02/06/2006. Once production is implemented, Members will automatically receive their new cards when they renew their membership.
GWRRA recognizes that as a family for Fun, Safety and Knowledge it is a team effort by both partners of the family. The original Family Membership was instituted by this office to incorporate measurable cost savings for families. The change supported a stringent effort to maintain our dues at the current level.
We have the greatest respect for our Family Membership partners and are pleased that we are able to affect this change and again identify the primary and partner Members on the Family Membership cards.
